History
RBM Company, organized in September 1945 by the late George W. Reed,
Albert W. Bruce, and S.R. "Pete" Montgomery, opened for business at
423 Depot St. RBM Company was founded on the principle of selling quality
lines and dedicated to the task of providing more and better services
for oil bulk plants, service station operators, industrial users and
many other customers.
In September 1958 as a result of steady growth, expanded services and
space limitations, RBM Company moved to a much larger facility at 414
Willow Avenue with a marked improvement in efficiency. During the years
at Willow Avenue there was continued growth in all areas of the Company
which again brought about the need for larger facilities. In January
of 1968, RBM Company moved into their new facility at 2700 Texas Avenue
which was especially designed to meet the requirements peculiar to the
needs of a petroleum equipment distributor and industrial environments.
Our present facility, with 25,000 square feet under roof, adequate parking,
plus several acres of storage and work area, has enabled us to provide
important services for our many fine customers.
During the past 62 years RBM Company has maintained a steady course
of progress and has increased in all areas. Our staff of 20 dedicated
employees supplied by over 300 of the finest manufacturers are thankful
to you, the customer for your support through the years. We continue
to ask for the opportunity to serve your needs in the future.
